International and domestic travel for most parts of Japan is returning to normal following Friday's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Flight services have resumed to, from and between most Japanese cities, excluding Sendai in the Miyagi Prefecture and the worst affected areas. The Fukushima, Miyagi and Iwate Prefectures have all been severely impacted by the earthquake and tsunami.

International flights in and out of Kansai (Osaka) as well as the Tokyo airports Haneda and Narita are operating as normal.

Train and subway services, including shinkansen (bullet train) services, that are not located in affected areas, are resuming normal schedules however some train services will continue to be affected by power cuts.
