Flight Centre Travel Group (FLT), which has twice been judged Australia's Best Employer, last night added the Australian Human Resources Industry (AHRI) Award For Talent Management to its collection of trophies.
Peopleworks leader Carole Cooper and her team collected the AHRI award, which related to the Careerwise initiative.
"This is a coveted award that recognises the contribution Careerwise is making to help our people progress and achieve their career goals," Carole said.
"I'm extremely proud of the team and its achievements. To be recognised externally is a huge honour."
The Careerwise service was launched in Sydney and was the brainchild of Hayley Lloyd, a current Careerwise specialist.
The service has now been rolled out nationally to help FLT's people progress their careers with the company, both within Australia and overseas.
Other finalists in FLT's category included accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Westpac banking group.
At the same awards ceremony, the Flight Centre Foundation was also a finalist in the AHRI Award for Corporate Social Responsibility.
