FCm Travel Solutions is celebrating its first victory in the 2012 World Travel Awards program after being named the Middle East's Leading Travel Management Company.

Award winners in the 2012 World Travel Awards for the Middle East were honoured recently at a gala event held at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa in Dubai.

It is the first time FCm has won the travel management award in this region and follows on from a stellar performance in the 2011 World Travel Awards program where FCm took out five awards, including the World's Leading Travel Management Company.

FCm's Managing Director Middle East and India, Andrew Boxall, said the company was thrilled to accept the award.

"This is an outstanding achievement for our teams here in the Middle East. The award recognises not only the strength of our operation and increasingly prominent profile in this region but also highlights the professionalism and consistently high servicing standards our people offer clients," Andrew said.

"Over the past few years we have been working hard to ensure our offering meets the growing needs of local companies and multinational businesses with commercial interests in the Middle East.

"As a result of higher demand for specialised travel management services from national and multinational companies looking to do business in places like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha and more recently Muscat, the Middle East has been a real focus area for FCm in terms of growing and tailoring our service offering to successfully capture marketshare.

"As part of our efforts to strengthen our operation we've increased staff numbers, boosted our servicing capabilities and product offering, and also implemented a new management structure to oversee our future growth strategies for the region.

"We have also moved our main business travel centre in Dubai to larger premises for the third time in as many years."

"In light of all of this activity, it's great to see FCm and our travel teams here recognised for being an industry leader in corporate travel management."
